Enough for who?

In the movie Mom’s Night Out, there’s a very moving scene in which one of the characters says “Enough for who?” This is another great movie. If you haven’t seen it, of course, I think you should.

The movie is very funny with a number of good messages. But, the scene I’m thinking about and focusing on now is below. Yes, you can enjoy this clip without having seen the movie. And, it won’t spoil the movie for you. All you need to know is one guy is talking to a mother who’s had a really, really, bad night and is feeling like a failure.

He’s talking to her about not being perfect and not stressing out about that, doing the best we can for God and trusting Him for the rest. But, he says something else in his little speech that’s just as important as “Enough for who?” Something we all need to remember.

He loves you Charles. No matter who you are, no matter what you do, or how far you run. Jesus will always be loving you with His arms open wide just for being you.  (from Bones in “Mom’s Night Out”)

Another reminder and a reason to smile…
